The thick padding is exactly what I needed for hauling my shotgun around the property, and the four detachable straps let me mount it left or right in seconds. Even the D-rings come in handy for clipping on a small bag when I'm hiking out.

The MOLLE webbing on the back makes it easy to attach to my pack, and the four detachable straps mean I can set it up either side. Only gripe is the hook-and-loop ID panel is a bit stiff at first, but it loosens up after a few uses.
